When I started The Illustrated Corvette Series in Spring of 1997 I thought it would last maybe 50 installments - tops! However, as I got into the series, I saw that to tell the complete Corvette story, I would have to branch out and cover all of the important Corvette show cars, prototypes, engineering studies, concept cars, and a few of the successful Corvette racers.
I finished the C4 Corvettes in September 2005 with the installment number 103, “The C4 Review.” I had been thinking that a book version of the series would be interesting, but in the mean time, a hand-made portfolio of the Illustrated Corvette Series should be produced.
Here’s the deal.
Each portfolio is hand-made from copies of the series, as it appeared in “Vette Magazine” with a clamp binder and special cover art. The Illustrated Corvette Series Portfolio is available SIGNED or UNSIGNED by the artist.
